Camo Pattern

As an experience hunter, I strongly believe that the camo pattern you choose to wear during your hunt matters. Lets say you are hunting in heavy pines. Would you wear a dark or a light pattern? Same goes if you are hunting in hardwoods. What if you are hunting over food plots ? Camo patterns and color matter. Whats your thoughts?

Hunting on a full moon

Fellow bloggers I experienced  this past weekend "the full moon" while hunting ....Couple of Weeks ago my wildlife instructor at the college I attend stated the "full moon" doesn`t effect the wildlife and he would hunt the early morning following a full moon.. So I tested HIS theory. I hunted Friday morning- forest was very QUITE. Saturday- not even the squirrels were moving. I decided to hunt all day, still nothing. My argument to him was deer move nocturnal especially during a full moon. I do not believe you can get up early and hunt after a full moon. This weekend I hunted harder than ever..

Do you study the MOON table when hunting?

As a full time student enrolled in a Wildlife class. My instructor who states he is a scientist stated " I never go by the moon table". My question was to the instructor ? The moon is full and the deer are nocturnal. Do you hunt early in the morning or later in the day? My instructor stated....Does not matter, I just hunt. I totally
disagree with him.. Prior to my hunt I study the weather forecast and most of all the moon table.. What is your opinion?
